For nearly forty years, Don Kraus has been a stage, film and television actor, as well as a screen-writer, novelist and poet. His epic novel-turned screenplay, THE HERMIT KINGDOM, drew strong interest from legendary director David Lean (DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA), but production plans ended with Lean's passing. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Don and his loving and supportive wife, Inge, moved to Colorado in 1996. Don has continued his thespian endeavors by appearing in and directing stage productions in Fort Collins, CO and dozens of independent fiilms in and around Denver. Having directed many stage productions, Don directed (and appeared in) a feature film of his own screenplay, VALENTINE'S DAY, in 2006 and it will be viewed at The New Filmmaker's Film Festival in New York in February 2008. ![]() Fine Art Photography Photographic Portraits |
